About

Originally from Los Angeles, Elyce has been living in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2006. She started her career in book editing and then moved into marketing and communications. Over the years, she's served at some of the Bay Area's most respected nonprofits, including KQED, the San Francisco SPCA, St. Anthony's, and Kaiser Permanente.  ​

 

For the past eight months, Elyce has served as the Temporary Manager of Marketing & Communications at JFCS East Bay, helping to build structures and systems for long-term agency growth. She will be transitioning out of this role in the fall of 2026 and seeking out new professional opportunities. Elyce continues as the Newsletter Editor for the Kaiser Permanente Biological Research Bank and as a contract contributor to Kaiser Permanente Northern California's multimedia team. 

When not busy writing or designing, Elyce can be found playing with her pug, solving BBC mysteries, or drinking coffee on outdoor patios.
